The bank faced several challenges, including fragmented data spread across legacy systems and cloud platforms, leading to delays in data accessibility and decision-making. The key objectives were to centralize data into a unified platform, enable real-time analytics, enhance governance and compliance, and leverage advanced AI capabilities for predictive insights and customer personalization.

What did
Glorious Insight do

The bank partnered with us to implement Microsoft Fabric, a comprehensive data and analytics platform designed to unify and streamline data processes. Using Microsoft Fabric’s Data Factory, data from legacy systems, third-party APIs, and cloud storage were ingested into a unified data lake (OneLake). Real-time transaction streams were integrated using Event Hubs and Synapse Pipelines, ensuring up-to-the-minute insights. Delta Lake format was adopted to optimize data storage and querying efficiency.

Synapse Analytics enabled seamless data processing and the development of machine learning models for use cases such as credit risk analysis, fraud detection, and customer segmentation. Interactive Power BI dashboards were built to provide stakeholders with real-time insights into key metrics such as loan approvals, asset performance, and transaction trends.

Governance and compliance were strengthened using Microsoft Purview, which ensured data cataloging, lineage tracking, and secure access controls, meeting regulations like RBI guidelines and GDPR. Furthermore, AI models powered by Microsoft Fabric and Azure OpenAI were implemented to improve customer engagement through personalized recommendations and natural language interactions.
